Common questions

What does an occupational therapist do?

OTs help people build the skills they need for everyday life. For children that means play, self-care, handwriting, coordination and managing emotions and senses. For adults it means managing daily tasks, work and staying independent at home.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed to book with us. Some extended health plans ask for one, so it is worth checking your plan.

What ages do you see?

We work with children and teenagers, and we also provide occupational therapy services for adults.

Where do sessions happen?

Sessions are held at our Langley clinic, which features a fully equipped sensory gym, or at your home, your child's school, or online.
